CALL CONSENT

904

Die deutsche Fassung ist maßgeblich. The German version is binding.

Entwurf, Stand: 22. Oktober 2026.

Die deutsche Fassung ist maßgeblich. Die englische Fassung ist eine Übersetzung.

Im Formular "Join the call"

Call consent: The texts in the "Join the call" form and before going on air. Draft, as of 22 October 2026.

The German version governs. This English version is a translation of the German version.

In the "Join the call" form

If we call you and you answer, every listener hears your voice live, and your name is said on air. Mistral AI turns your voice into text, and the AI hosts answer you with lines written by Claude (Anthropic); Claude also reads this call request. We record the show with your contribution, publish it in the livehacker.news archive, where anyone can replay it with its captions, and may refer back to it in later shows. If you want your call taken out of the archive later, write to us and we take the show down. The details are in the privacy notice and the terms.

Checkbox 1: I consent to my voice being broadcast live, turned into text by Mistral AI, processed by Claude (Anthropic), recorded and published with the show in the livehacker.news archive, as described in the privacy notice. I can withdraw this consent at any time.

Checkbox 2: I accept the terms.

The two boxes are separate so that the consent stays distinguishable from the terms (Article 7(2) GDPR). Neither is ticked in advance.

TO CONFIRM clips, a podcast feed or social media posts are not covered by this text; they would need their own line. How long the archive keeps a show.

Before you go on air

You are about to go live: every listener hears what your microphone picks up. Your voice is turned into text, recorded and published with the show in the archive. You can hang up at any time; what has already gone out cannot be taken back.
